Pas Caprivi, formally called Itenge is a narrow belt of land in the far, the north – eastern corner of Namibia, with around 400 km in length. In the year 1890 the then Chancellor of Germany, graf Leo von Caprivi signed a treaty of Heligoland-Zanzibar from British United Kingdom on the exchange of territories. In exchange for the Caprivi (access to the Zambezi River) and Helgoland, an island located on the M. North, the British gained Zanzibar, an island located off the coast of Tanganiki. Pas is in the Caprivi region Okavango, whose name comes from the name of the river and delta, located at the territory of neighboring Botswana. Pasa eastern boundary is the Zambezi river, which in a short distance from the edge of the famous Victoria Falls waterfall. In connection with the positioning of the region is a great base for tourists wishing to visit nearby attractions such as Okavango swamps, waterfall Victoria Reserve Chobe-Zambezi-Kwando.
